4th of July in Texas

Delmar and Joan came and took a tour of the Center The next Stop was the Dallas famous Saltgrass Steak house

4th of July evening sister Nelson and I visited the Resistol Arena in Mesquite Texas

The rodeo show opened with an exciting laser show followed the rodeo events you
would expect at a championship rodeo: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Barrel Racing, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, and Team Roping.
The kids there had the Dash-For-Cash and Mutton Bustin’.
Huge Video Boards around the arena provide slow motion replays of all the action.

The part Brian would have enjoyed the Dodge Ram Truck complete with Rams Great Clowns

Standing in the right line

The rodeo has hosted many business, sports, and political luminaries around the world including Prince Ranier of Monaco, President Ronald Reagan, and President George W. Bush. What to expect when you come to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo

The dash for cash was just a fun event for all the kids

The Dodge Truck haul out the barrel's for the barrel race.

Sister Nelson enjoying the pre show and her Popcorn! After the MCR Rodeo there was a great Fireworks Extravaganza in the parking lot. What a fun time, Maybe not as famous as Gunlock, or Ruby's Inn, however, a good one!
