A visit to the Hometown of Willie Nelson. Not a huge town. In fact it was the perfect size!
Just off of I-35-South 80 miles from Dallas
Seemed like the freeway by passed the town and it has been forgotten
Willie bought this Church
Willie bought this grocery Store, Major has run it for many years for him. Willie calls him often to check and see how he is doing. He had a stroke last year, however, he still goes to the store every day. A loyal employee for sure.
There was a meat counter. It reminded me of the old Bob Dotson Market.
