Handel's Messiah-McKinney Stake Performance

Sister Nelson is very excited for the Performance of selections of Handel's Messiah A beautiful Sunday afternoon in the McKinny Texas stake
The Stake center has a beautiful pipe organ

The director was Jim Harmon Methodist Music Master. He will perform it next week at his church.

We both enjoy the Sisters in the McKinny area, Sister Ishi is from Galena Nevada and Sister Joseph is from Alpine Utah. They are good hard working sisters. Mckinny is 25 miles north of Dallas. The Stake has 10 wards, one being a Spanish ward.

The Harpsichord player is our friend Charles Morell. He put the orchestra together. He and sister Nelson make beautiful Renaissance music on the recorder and Harpsichord.

The director was fascinating to watch. He was a very animated director to put it mildly!.
